Your first season, start to finish
Here's how your family's first season comes together.
Raise your hand
Join the free interest list — one minute, no commitment, no payment. You get first access when registration opens July 13.
Four teams form
Crews and solo players combine into 4 teams of 6–8. When the fourth team fills, the schedule locks — kickoff lands about three weeks later.
Roster reveal
Your kid gets a team, a coach, and a schedule — and you get the group chat that actually matters.
Six Saturdays of game days
One trip a week: warm-up and game in a single visit. Home by lunch, smiling all afternoon.
The finale
A celebration day with family on the field, medals, and a founding-season memory that sticks.
First game day? You've got this.
The nervous-parent checklist — short, because we handle the rest.
The easy stuff
A water bottle, weather-friendly clothes, and a kid (any mood accepted — we've seen them all).
Everything else
Tents, concessions, field markings and setup, flags, soft footballs, cones, the practice plan, the coach, and the patience. Jersey details come with registration.
A lot of joy
Short bursts of play, constant touches, zero benches. If your kid wanders mid-game once or twice — that's age 4. We roll with it.
How we keep it safe
Background-checked
Every coach and ref, every season. Non-negotiable.
Non-contact play
Flags, not tackles. The play ends with a pull, not a pile.
Concussion-aware
Any head bump sits out and a parent is told. Every time.
Counted in, counted out
Arrival counts, transition counts, and a direct handoff to your grown-up at pickup.
What registration includes
Accessible pricing, always
Priced at or below typical rec programs — accessibility is the brand. Full pricing publishes when registration opens July 13.
Tier 1 content, free
Every registered family unlocks the member library — backyard practice games, skill progressions, and what your kid is learning, explained.
Founding family perks
The first 4 teams join the Founders Wall — plus a founding surprise revealed at registration.
Pitch in: the volunteer playbook
Game days run on parent power. Every role is trained, simple, and kid-adjacent — pick what fits your Saturday.
Team Parent
The communication MVP: reminders, snack schedule, and rallying the sideline. You already do this — now it counts.
Field & Setup Crew
Cones out, flags sorted, end zones set. Arrive a little early, be the reason it looks like a real league.
Concessions Crew
Water, snacks, and smiles at the table. The most popular tent on the field — training and float provided.
Check-In Table
Greet families, count every kid in, hand out flag belts. First face of WOWflag — bring your good morning voice.
Sideline Photographer
Catch the touchdown faces. Photos publish only through our signed consent process — we handle that part.
Water & Shade Captain
Florida's most important job: water breaks every 10–15 minutes and shade wrangling between games.
Want to give more than time? The WOWflag Football Foundation is planned — until it exists, we're not accepting donations. Right now the league runs on exactly one currency: your Saturday mornings. Tell us your role on the interest list.
